Stay informed: Your library gives you access to international newspapers online

PressReader is an app (and a website) collecting 7000+ newspapers from around the world. As a library user you can read them online for free.
How to use PressReader
- Go to pressreader.com or download the PressReader app for iOS/Android
- When signing in: Select ”Library or group”, search for Aarhus, and select “Library – Public – Aarhus Kommunes Biblioteker”
- Then sign in with your library username (CPR number) and pin code
You can search newspapers by name, country or language, and articles are stored for up to 90 days.
Not a library member yet?
Anyone living in Aarhus can register as a library user. It’s free to borrow books, to use our digital resources, and to participate in most of our events and activities. There are two ways to sign up:
- Stop by your local library (remember to bring your yellow health insurance card and some ID, preferably photo ID). Here is a list of the 19 libraries in Aarhus and where they are located
- Or sign up online (this requires NemID, and the form is in Danish).
